General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Delivery
These general terms and conditions of sale and delivery form the basis of an order with SkinTools AG, hereinafter referred to as SkinTools. The current general terms and conditions of sale and delivery apply to each order. These can be adjusted by SkinTools at any time. SkinTools is a Swiss company based in Lucerne. The place of jurisdiction is Lucerne, Switzerland. Orders with SkinTools are subject to Swiss law.
Principles
- SkinTools strives to provide its customers with only high-quality products from reputable manufacturers. Our priority is customer satisfaction, and our goal is to offer our customers excellent service at a competitive price.
- SkinTools endeavors to provide the most complete and accurate product information possible (e.g., water content, weight, packaging illustration, product features, etc.). However, customers are strongly advised to consult the specific information in the package insert or the product information on the manufacturer's website. The latter take precedence over the information provided by SkinTools.
SkinTools reserves the right to supply exclusively professional tattooists or piercers. No materials are sent or sold to private individuals.
Prices
All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) including Swiss VAT.
Warranty and Liability
- The goods received must be checked immediately by the recipient for completeness and accuracy. Complaints after 5 working days will not be accepted.
- SkinTools does not provide any warranty beyond the statutory warranty on its products.
Liability claims must be made directly and exclusively against the product manufacturer. Any liability of SkinTools is excluded.
Order
- To ensure data protection, SkinTools does not accept credit card payments by phone, email, or fax.
SkinTools reserves the right to make the delivery of orders dependent on a credit check. By placing your order, you consent to a credit check being carried out.
SkinTools also reserves the right to make delivery dependent on advance payment.
SkinTools may cancel an order if you are not creditworthy, have one or more outstanding invoices with SkinTools, or for other reasons. In such cases, you are not entitled to any compensation.
SkinTools reserves the right to apply quantity restrictions to large orders.
Product Descriptions / Images
SkinTools makes every effort to describe products as accurately as possible. For this purpose, SkinTools uses the original information provided by the respective manufacturers and suppliers and does not guarantee its accuracy. In any case, customers are strongly advised to consult the specific information provided in the package leaflet or the product information available on the manufacturer’s website. These take precedence over the information provided by SkinTools. Product images may differ.
Changes / Availability
- Price changes as well as changes to the terms and conditions of ordering and delivery are subject to change without notice. SkinTools strives to keep the provided images and product details as up to date as possible, but manufacturer-related changes may occur without prior notice.
- Changes to the product range may occur at any time. SkinTools aims to deliver products to the customer within the specified delivery time. Should the delivery time be exceeded or the product no longer be available in its stated form, the customer will be informed. In such a case, SkinTools reserves the right to cancel the order. The customer is not entitled to any compensation if an offered or ordered product is not available for delivery.
If multiple products are ordered and one is no longer available, this does not mean that the entire order is cancelled.
Confirmation
By placing an order, the customer confirms that:
If any complaints arise due to the use of a product, they will immediately stop using the product and consult a qualified professional (doctor, pharmacist, etc.).
Before using the product, they will carefully read the product’s package insert (also available online on the website of the respective manufacturer) and, in case of uncertainties or questions, will contact a professional such as a doctor or pharmacist.
They will not hold SkinTools liable for any complications, complaints, other issues that may arise, or product liability claims, and will address such matters directly and exclusively with the manufacturer.
All information provided has been given truthfully.
Shipping within Switzerland
- Payment by invoice, due within 10 days after receipt of goods.
- Payment by credit card (Mastercard / Visa / PayPal).
- Shipping costs: PostPac Priority CHF 7.90.
- The goods remain the property of SkinTools until full payment is received.
- Additional costs due to incorrect address details provided by the customer will be borne by the customer.
- SkinTools is not liable for any loss or damage during shipping; liability lies solely with the respective shipping provider. Claims must be made directly to them.
Free shipping on orders over CHF 350.
International Shipping
- Payment in advance.
- Payment by credit card (Mastercard / Visa / PayPal).
- Shipping costs Europe: PostPac Priority CHF 25.00.
- Shipping costs other countries: PostPac Priority CHF 30.00.
- All prices are exclusive of any applicable customs duties and foreign VAT/sales tax.
- Additional costs due to incorrect address details provided by the customer will be borne by the customer.
SkinTools is not liable for any loss or damage during shipping; liability lies solely with the respective shipping provider. Claims must be made directly to them.
Delivery Time
- Delivery times are specified individually for each product.
- SkinTools strives to stay below the stated delivery times but cannot guarantee punctual delivery.
If an order includes items with different delivery times, they will be shipped together in one combined shipment. In urgent cases, partial deliveries can be requested in writing or by phone. Additional costs in such cases are the responsibility of the customer.
Payment Default
- If the customer is in default of payment, SkinTools may charge a reminder fee of CHF 40.00 per reminder.
Costs in the event of payment default: processing fee (at the earliest after two written reminders following the invoice date, upon transfer to a debt collection agency) according to www.fairpay.ch.
Complaints and Returns
- The goods received must be checked immediately by the recipient for completeness and accuracy.
- Complaints submitted more than 5 working days after delivery will not be accepted.
- Defective products must be returned together with a copy of the invoice in the original packaging.
- Returns must be sufficiently prepaid; the sender/customer bears the return shipping costs.
